Scheuten Solar has produced and delivered 600 custom made BIPV modules for the Carrara football stadium on Australia’s Gold Coast. The glass-glass solar modules are integrated into the roof of this prestigious building, covering the inner rim of the football stadium. With a capacity of 220 kWp this project is Australia’s largest BIPV project so far.
Following the supply of no less than 30,000 m² glass, Scheuten Solar provided in excess of 3,000 solar panels for the roof covering of Central Station Rotterdam. The glass-glass solar panels will be fully integrated into the station's glass roof spanning a surface area of over 9,000 m².
Scheuten Solar has produced and delivered 378 custom made BIPV-modules for ‘Ampliación del Corte Inglés Castellana, Edificio Comercial’. This new iconic building forms a prominent eye catcher in Madrid’s skyline. Spain's No 1 department store group "El Corte Inglés” initiated the construction of the new tower, adjacent to one of its biggest shopping centres.
On the grounds of Toyota in Rome, 16 Scheuten Solar glass-glass modules were installed as roofing of a carport, which together have a nominal output of 2.7 kWp. In this regard, the modules not only provide protection from rainfall and excessive solar radiation, but also serve as a source of energy for hybrid vehicles at the same time. As such, the carport shows an ideal possibility: how environmentally friendly engines can be powered by environmentally friendly energy.
Scheuten leads by example - on the 2,000 m² roof of its new manufacturing hall in Gelsenkirchen there is plenty of space for a high-performance photovoltaic generator.
